The Introduction….
In February 2007 I received an email from a long-time girlfriend, Julie Bell, who lives in Dallas. She simply asked me if I had “afternoon slumps” and if so, could she send me a bottle of juice. Why not, I have slumps every day, since I chase four year old boy/girl twins and a 2 year old boy.

When the juice arrived on a Tuesday morning, I took 2 oz. immediately and another 2 oz around 4 PM. By 5:30 PM I was no longer “evil mom” during the witching hours. I was singing and dancing in the kitchen with the kids while making dinner. My husband, Jeff, was astonished when he walked in the door and wanted to know what had happened. After telling him why I thought I was happy and energetic, he blew it off and called it “snake oil”. He pulled three all-nighters that week with work, and I convinced him to take 4 oz. each day to get him though. Amazingly enough, he said he felt extremely alert living on no sleep at all. He was hooked. It raised his eyebrows too when I told him about its possible effects on elevated cholesterol (which he has). Needless to say, we became distributors.
The Bax Man Hope….
As a speech-language pathologist by background, I have known something has been wrong with our youngest son, Baxter, since he turned two. Minimal eye contact, no friends, introvert, never played with older twin brother and sister, either jumping everywhere or snuggled in your chest, very good and obsessed with puzzles (50-100 piece!), NEVER follow commands, basically non-verbal, would say one-word utterances when forced, etc. I was in denial and worked with his speech-language skills daily. I was finally convinced by a friend who is an SLP also to at least have him tested in the schools. He was diagnosed at an 18 month level receptive and expressive language skills. We had him also tested on April 11, 2007 at Children’s Mercy Hospital by a speech-language pathologist who basically stated, “Cara, you know I cannot tell you anything legally, but you know where I am going with this”. She was implying he had the classic symptoms of Autism. I proceeded to go home and cry for two days. I knew this is what he had, but had been in denial. I emailed Julie, up line sponsor, asking for prayer from a pastor’s wife (she’s married to pastor!), and after praying over me and Baxter’s situation, she told me to go to www.monaviemoms.com. There were many testimonials from parents with Autistic children who had seen tons of improvements when their kids were given MonaVie. Baxter had one ounce of Monavie in his sippie the next morning. I gave him another ounce that afternoon and then two more the next day. That evening of the second day after dinner, my husband, Jeff, and I were sitting on the back deck when Baxter walked outside where we were, put his hands on his hips and proceeded to say, “Hi Mama! Hi Daddy! What cha doing?” We almost started crying! Those were the most words and first question that had ever passed his lips! He continued to make amazing speech, language, cognitive and social improvements over the next few weeks while taking MonaVie. His teachers even asked me what was going on because he was a completely different kid (he was currently in two preschools). He was talking in class, interacting with peers, initiating utterances with teachers, tons of eye contact, lots of hugs and kisses for everyone, following commands, smiling all the time, chasing his brother and sister around the house, not as obsessed with puzzles etc.
We scheduled an appointment with a developmental pediatrician on May 22 (6 weeks after his S/L eval.) to get an official diagnosis. The doctor not only placed him at a 29 month level speech-language level (37 months old at time of testing), he also said he is ONLY borderline for ADD and Autism. As an SLP myself, I am almost sure he would have been immediately labeled as truly Autistic if the pediatrician had seen him prior to MonaVie. He still is echolalic sometimes (repeats what people say), perseverates (repeats a word or phrase over and over), toe walks, jumps and difficult to reason with at times, but not near to the severity as before. He continues to make leaps and bounds in his delayed areas daily! We truly believe that MonaVie has changed his life for the better.
Our Health….
As for mine and my husband’s health since taking this fabulous product….
1. No longer have insomnia,
2. So alert that I no longer need my “quiet time” with the kids in the afternoon.
3. No more carpal tunnel wrist pain
4. No more achy, cracking knees (I was a Chiefs Cheerleader for 5 years until I was 30 years old!)
5. Minimal headaches
6. Improved G.I. issues
7. Lost 5 pounds without trying; loss of appetite for snacking
8. Jeff’s vision IMPROVED in his right eye! (legally blind since the third grade!)
9. Love life has improved (if you know what I mean;).)
10. Minimal to no acid-reflux disease pain

| There is a marathon runner who had been drinking it and believes it has helped her performance/recovery time. She was absolutely not interested in another business as she own 2 running stores, runs marathons, has 2 daughters on soccor scholarships( one daughter is ranked 1st nationally and the other is ranked 2nd nationally) all of them now drink Monavie...They are now signed up to the autoship program .
The runner is Adrienne Silver and her husband Gary Silver who own Premier Running Soccer & Tri 10341 Royal Palm Blvd,Coral Springs , 33065 ,FL. and another store same name in Parkland ( where the Pure Gym is located) Adrienne is a 52 year old female who placed 4TH in The Boston Marathon this year which she ran during a Nor'easter...not bad for a sunshine gal.
She beat the mens time in onef the Miami Corporate run. Adrienne reportedly swears by MonaVie. |
